1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using MDReader ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MDReader is a free, client-side markdown documentation viewer that allows you to:
- Upload and view markdown files in your browser
- Export markdown content to Word documents (.docx)
- Export markdown content to Google Docs (requires Google account)
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Service
- Take responsibility for any content you process through the Service
4. Intellectual Property
The MDReader application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MDReader and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the markdown content you upload or create using the Service. We claim no ownership over your content.
5. Google Integration
The optional Google Docs export feature requires authentication with your Google account. By using this feature:
- You authorize MDReader to create Google Docs documents on your behalf
- You agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Availability or reliability of the Service
- Accuracy of exported documents
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall MDReader, its operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
This applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
